MICROWAVE TRAINING SYSTEM
Although the field of microwaves is relatively new, microwave systems are now used in a wide variety of applications: air traffic control, wireless and satellite communications, air defence and missile tracking, and even to cook food.
The Lab-Volt Microwave Training System is completely integrated and allows hands-on experience and practice with microwave components and technology. The system provides training in power and attenuation measurements, calibration of variable attenuators, Gunn oscillators, detection of microwave signals, and directional couplers. Other topics include: impedance measurements and matching, Smith charts, VSWR measurements, reflection coefficient measurements, antennas and propagation, and microwave optics.
