PCI DATA ACQUISITION CARD (100 Msps)Comlab's Model CL 7000 PCI Data Acquisition Card was designed from the start to provide a high-performance, cost-effective solution to PC data acquisition needs. The CL 7000 has a single-channel sampling rate of 100 MSPS, and a dual-channel rate of 50 MSPS, both with a vertical resolution of 10 bits. Memory depths from 256 KB to 4 MB per channel are possible.
The two analog inputs and the Ext Trig input are fully-protected against over-voltage and over-current conditions up to 300 VDC. Besides all usual triggering features, the system has both pre and post-trigger abilities, and HF/LF reject modes, another unique feature of this card. A Cancel Acquisition command prevents system lock-up, should pre-programmed trigger conditions not occur. There is also a built-in Force Trigger command.
Mainly intended for OEM users, the CL 7000 provides a cost-effective means to implement almost any type of PC-based "virtual instrumentation" or test equipment.
All software drivers (Windows DLL's, DOS) and source documentation to allow programmers to fully exploit the functions of the Model 7000 are provided with the system.
Besides the input protection and HF/LF reject features of the CL 7000, four types of interrupts are accessible to programmers. This allows greater flexibility in designing special data acquisition and signal processing hardware. OEM devices can be easily configured to use control signals tied to the state of interrupts for the beginning or the end of an acquisition sequence, as well as interrupts for voltage range overload, and even single data samples.
